Booking your session is only the beginning! Now you have to figure out location and what everyone is going to wear! I recommend the Mom, Wife, Girlfriend, etc. find what they like first. Make sure you feel good in it, if you are uncomfortable in any way, it will definitely show in your photos. Then, all you have to do is match everyone else off of the staple piece you are wearing. Try to stay away from multiple patterns, play with colors, stay away from stark white and go with more off whites and tans.
