About me

First off let me start by introducing myself!!! I am Erika, owner and photographer of Blissful Moments. I am a wife and a momma to 4 boys! I guess you can say my life is a little hectic, but I wouldn't change it for the world!!!!
I have been in love with art and photography since I was a little girl...this may show my age but do any of y'all remember the "Jam Cam" lol that was officially my first camera when I was like 7! My dad always use to say I have an eye for things and would end up doing something in the art department when I grew up, and he was right! I really started getting into photography when I was in high school. I took a photography class and lets just say, its history from there!!! I got pregnant with my first son and my life kinda fell upside down for a while. I was in a bad relationship and I regret not making it a priority to get more photos of my kids when they were little. I got out of that relationship and met my current husband when my boys were 2 and 3 and he's been the best thing that has happened to us. We had our own child together and my flame for photography was lit once again, my husband bought me my first professional camera and has stood behind me ever since!!

I have been blessed to be able to quit my 9-5 job in the medical field, and go full time with my photography this past year(2021). I have been published in 14 magazines, and have had the awesome opportunity to work with so many beautiful people this past year, and I look forward to many many more!
I absolutely love photography and capturing special moments and times in peoples lives. I know from first hand how precious memories are and I love being able to freeze those memories for all of you!
